I have the same issue. The task timer keeps counting up, but the task time left says Zero. If you press the options or preview tab, it says no re-encoding is going on.
Seems to be a bug in the software? I was able to successful rip one movie, except accidentally ripped it with subtitles. Trying to rip same movie again without subtitles and now it just continuously hangs. It will start encoding fine, then slow down the FPS encoding and then it stops displaying the FPS and just sits there. |

I am having the exact same problem as described by the previous member. I only just paid for lifetime subscription for DVD Copy and DVD Ripper. After registration I successfully ripped several DVDs to iPad format, then suddenly it stops working as per the previous member's entry.
I have wasted so much time trying to work out the problem by modifying preferences mentioned in these forum threads, but still no luck. I have even tried uninstalling and re-installing several times in the hope that maybe it only works for a limited number of DVDs before it stops. I hope they work out this issue quickly as there seems to be alot of users impacted. |

Since my post I have unistalled the latest version and re-installed version 8.0.8.5 and all problems resolved. Version 8.1.3.8 must be full of bugs.

I can confirm. In my tests today (1.2.12) the issue is movie specific. I did several successfully then ran into one that wound down and stopped. I did everything I know to do to convert it without success. I used a different program and the same movie converted successfully. There is an issue but it is intermittent and beyond my experience.

I wouldn't mind betting it is the difference in the audio streams available in the title. Have struck this before.

I tried all different combinations of audio, output, etc and still no luck. But managed to successfully rip the same DVD with earlier version. I had this success with many DVDs, not just one. Given all the posts regardng this same problem, I find it hard to believe it is DVD specific.
Happy to keep using earlier version until this release gets the all clear. |

That may be, but it's not something I can see. It has an AC 3/2 audio track but so does some others that convert fine.
