GregiBoy - Do you know if the developers are looking into this problem or not?
Looks like we've got a number of users having this problem with various profiles... It also looks like some of the problem reports go back to mid September (channel issue - http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=145) and slightly early September (sync issues - http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=25 - and then again late October - http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=820 & http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=938) |

I'm new to the forum but have lots and lots of experience troubleshooting this issue. I stumbled upon the best practices myself and have been converting to ISO first for a long time and have this sync issue with a large number of the DVD's I own, which I will try to post more information for later but for now I just posted the one I just did. I've had trouble with Beauty In The Beast, Crimson Tide, Armageddon, Jurassic Park, Year One, Adventureland, the list goes on and on and on and on. I have had lots of success with other DVD's, however. One thing that has worked for me in the past for a couple DVD's is using a different program other than DVDFab to convert to an ISO. I used DVD Shrink and sometimes those will sync up when converting to wmv, whereas the ISOs I created using DVDFab did not. Most of the time though I create an ISO with DVDFab and one with DVD Shrink and they both convert out of sync to a wmv. This is very frustrating and a big waste of time! I hope it is fixed!

I just recently converted to DVD 6.x from 5.x and the problem seemed to start there. I just recently ripped some of my home movie dvds (confirmed the sources are in sync) and noticed the audio sync "drift" progressively as I tried to convert them to AVIs with DVD Fab 6.2.0.5. By the time the video ends (app. 1 hour), the audio is 3 secs or so behind. I also tried the Midway DVD and got a similar result. Here are the particulars...
