well i think it copies fine,it's just on my computer it shows slow loading times, but on the one hooked to my tv,no problems at all. and it can't be the drive because as i said earlier backup dvd's don't do it at all. i guess as long as they do play one way shape or form,i won't complain.

I recently used the updated (free) version of FAB and burnt UP to my hard drive and then compressed it using DVDShrink. When I played it on an older DVD player it was fine but when I placed it into my main DVD player it advised 'no disk'.

Can anybody advise a reason for this?

Default yep

Jaktar, only one part, the no disc, happened to me after backing up Bruno,Wild Child, and one other one, using the most recent one that came out on the 11th. they will play back fine on normal dvd players but on the PC,it'll show half a screen when the controls show up on WMP,but after they minimize everything shows. and it takes a bit before going to the next part. I tried earlier backups and they don;t do this. then at times after i take out Bruno and put in Wild Child,it'll act like i have no DVD,so i have to restart. I'm not making an issue though because i'm sure in the next update it might fix that. but at least they'll play on non PC players with no issue so...

What is the movie, DVD or Blu-ray? What are you using, DVDFab paid version or the free version? What version of DVDFab do you have installed?

Default Corupt setup files

I tried re-downloading version 6.2.0.2 beta for the BD+ and I got a message that the setup files were corupt. I disabled my anti-virus and my fire-wall and it still said setup files were corupt. Is the file it self bad or am I doing something wrong? All other files download and install with no problem.

BTW, I am a lifetime member of both DVD to DVD and BLU-RAY to BLU-RAY!

Thanks in advance for any help offered!

Have you tried to download the latest BETA (version 6.2.0.5)?
Just an idea...

thanks for the help but version 6.2.0.5 is an official release and not a Beta and also 6.2.0.5 does not support BD+ removal as that is still in the beta stages. cripmangap needs BD+ removal so needs DVDFab 6.2.0.2 Beta for the BD+ removal. Again thanks for helping and we like to see the members trying like this here
