So it looks like trying to leave on BD-Live causes the newer discs not to load for whatever reason. I will leave that up to the developers.

The disc did not open for me. It made no difference if BD-Live was checked or unchecked. My Region is also 1/USA.

SOLVED! I reset the program back to BD defaults and restarted. It now works with the Beta version. Not sure which parameter caused it to not load the disk, but I did have the BD-Live enabled.

I was also able to open the disc after reverting to default setting.

All new Lionsgate Blu-ray titles for the past 3 months will not play in a PC or Mac full stop. All Blu-ray BD drives won’t even recognise or see the disc at all. I had tried different computers, operating systems and BD drives to no effect. You can’t even watch the disc as a movie in any computer, let alone back it up with DVDFab.

The USA retail version opens for me with no problems using v8.1.8.0 and 8.1.8.1 if all protection removal options are checked. If BD Live is unchecked, DVDFab either crashes or will not open in Full Disc or Main Movie mode (did not try Clone). I will report it to the QA Team.

Different Blu-ray disk (Cowboys And Aliens - EU Verison) but similar issue. DVFAB 8.1.8.5 was not opening it and I had Remove Region Code unchecked andf remove User Prohibited Operations unchecked. Ticked them both and it read it fine. Here are the before and after logs ....
