Hi everyone,
This is a post to report that DVDFab is obviously knowing several issues with Blu-Ray discs. The most common problem is that the rip doesn't work correctly. here's what's happening. I insert a BRD into my computer Blu-Ray player/burner. The disc is recognized and I ask DVDFab to rip it to my hard drive creating a .iso. The .iso is created normally... or at least, so it seems. But it appears that it is then impossible to do anything with it : - the original .iso will not play on a regular Blu-Ray player (an Oppo BDP-93) - the files in 2 folders won't play either - compression to a BRD25 will eventually end... but will result in an also unplayable disc structure. Only solution : to rip the main movie only... which is of course something that limits the interest of DVDFab. This has happened using DVDFab for Mac as DVDFab for PC. Discs concernend where : - Frostbite (Captain America) - Green Lantern Thanks to DVDFab, I have been able to throw away about 8 or 10 blank BRD that I burnt... I really hope they'll soon come with a solution that really works, instead of coming with promises that can't be kept ! Regards. BluRayPenguin |
